Export a still frame from a Lottie animation
- Upload JSON with embedded assets or try the sample.
- Move the frame slider and choose a longest side up to 2048 pixels.
- Download a transparent PNG for a poster image, static fallback, or design mockup.
A still image with transparency
PNG contains one rendered frame, with transparency wherever the artwork leaves the canvas empty. An existing background layer remains visible. The checkerboard is a preview aid and is not baked into the file.
Size and compatibility
The aspect ratio stays unchanged and small source canvases are not enlarged. Linked images, external fonts, and expressions need embedding or baking before export. Check effects against your intended player.
Build a reduced-motion fallback
Choose a frame that explains the state without movement. Keep accessible status text in your application. A PNG is also useful as a video poster, but cannot preserve animation or editable vector layers.
