Terms of service
Effective date:
These terms govern your use of https://lottieditor.com and the Lottieditor editor and related services. Your agreement is with Cooper Dalton, a sole proprietor based in California, United States, operating as Lottieditor. "We," "us," and "our" refer to that operator.
Contact: nextablesupport@gmail.com
Business mailing address: 2274 Dry Creek Ct, San Jose, CA 95124, United States.
By using Lottieditor, creating an account, or purchasing a plan, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Lottieditor for a business or other organization, you must have authority to enter this agreement for it.
Who can use Lottieditor
We offer Lottieditor worldwide, subject to applicable law. You must be legally able to enter this agreement or have a parent or legal guardian who can agree on your behalf and supervise your use.
You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age required where you live. If you are under the age of legal majority, your parent or legal guardian must agree to these terms and supervise your use. Guardian permission does not allow someone below the applicable minimum age to use the service.
Accounts and workspaces
Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone has gained unauthorized access.
Workspace owners and administrators manage membership and access. Only invite people you are authorized to invite, and understand that workspace members can access content according to their assigned permissions. Paying for an editor seat does not transfer ownership of another person's intellectual property.
Your creations
You retain all ownership and intellectual property rights you have in the projects, animations, images, and other content you create or upload. Lottieditor does not acquire ownership of your creations. You may use and distribute your exports for personal or commercial purposes, subject to rights in any third-party content you include.
You give us only the permission needed to process your content to provide the features you request. This includes storing and backing it up, applying your edits, generating previews and exports, and making it accessible to workspace members or external agents you authorize. Our service providers may process it only as needed to support those services. This permission does not authorize advertising, public showcases, AI training, or unrelated reuse of your work.
This permission ends when the relevant content is erased from our systems, except for limited retention required by law. Deletion and retained copies are described in the Privacy Policy. Your ownership does not end when your subscription or account ends.
You must have the rights needed to upload and use your content. These terms do not grant rights in someone else's images, fonts, trademarks, templates, or other materials. Any separately stated license for assets we provide continues to apply.
Our software
We and our licensors retain rights in the Lottieditor software, branding, and other materials we provide. Subject to these terms, you may use the service for its intended purposes. Open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses.
Plans, payments, and cancellation
Available features, export limits, prices, billing intervals, and editor-seat charges are shown before purchase. Stripe processes payments. Paid subscriptions renew at the disclosed billing interval unless canceled. Any applicable taxes and the total due are disclosed at checkout.
You can cancel renewal through the billing portal accessible from your account. You can also email nextablesupport@gmail.com for help. For an ordinary cancellation, paid access continues until the end of the period already paid for, after which the workspace is subject to the free plan's limits.
Changes to seats can change your bill. Any immediate charge or proration must be disclosed before you confirm the change. We will provide legally required renewal notices and notice of changes to recurring charges, and obtain consent where required. A revised website price does not by itself change an existing subscription's agreed price.
30-day refunds
To request a full refund, email nextablesupport@gmail.com within 30 days of your payment. No questions asked.
This policy does not limit any additional refund or cancellation rights you have under applicable law.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, infringe other people's rights, access accounts or projects without permission, distribute malicious software, disrupt the service, or bypass security and payment controls. Do not send unsolicited invitations or harvest other users' personal information. Automated access must respect the service's permissions and technical limits.
External services and agents
Google sign-in, Stripe payments, Figma imports, and agents you connect may be subject to separate provider terms. Connecting an agent authorizes it to access information and perform actions within the connection's permissions. Review its work and its provider's privacy practices. We do not take ownership of projects because you use an agent.
Availability and account closure
We work to keep Lottieditor available, but interruptions, defects, and data loss can occur. Keep exported copies of important work. We may change features and limits, with notice where a change materially affects an existing paid commitment or where law requires it.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a material breach of these terms, security threats, or legal requirements. Where practical, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve it. We may act immediately where delay would create harm or violate the law.
You may stop using the service and request account closure by emailing nextablesupport@gmail.com. Subscription cancellation and deletion of stored information are separate processes. We will help you address both. The Privacy Policy explains information retention and deletion.
If we discontinue a paid service before the end of a prepaid period, we will provide any refund required by law. If we discontinue the service for reasons unrelated to your breach, we will refund the unused portion of your prepaid subscription.
Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free results. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or consumer guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Our total liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that applicable law does not permit us to limit.
Governing law and disputes
California law governs these terms, subject to mandatory laws and consumer protections that apply where you live. Nothing in these terms deprives you of a right to bring a claim in a court available to you under applicable law.
Contact nextablesupport@gmail.com with a dispute so we can try to resolve it. Contacting us first is not a condition that prevents you from exercising legal rights or meeting a filing deadline. These terms do not require arbitration or waive participation in a class action.
Changes and remaining terms
We will post revised terms with an updated effective date and provide notice of material changes. We will obtain agreement where required by law. Changes will not retroactively remove accrued rights or refund entitlements.
If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Any provision intended by its nature to continue after account closure, such as ownership and accrued payment obligations, continues to apply.
