Animate your logo

Give your logo a short entrance or a gentle loop. Start with an SVG, preview the motion below, then refine individual shapes in the editor.

Try it with our sample mark

Choose Try the sample logo to load our original geometric mark: a purple bar, a lilac square, and a green circle. Pulse starts at 85% scale, reaches full size halfway through, then returns to 85% for a repeating two-second loop.

Use this sample to explore the controls, or upload your own logo.

From SVG to animated logo

  1. Import your artwork. Upload an SVG with the complete logo inside its viewBox. Simple shapes stay editable. Convert text to paths in your design tool if exact lettering matters.
  2. Choose the movement. Pulse works for a gentle loop. Float moves the whole mark upward and back. Fade in is an entrance that will visibly reset if you loop it. Spin rotates the whole group.
  3. Set the duration. Begin with two seconds. Shorten it for a quicker movement or lengthen it for a slower one. Compare the first and last frames and play several cycles.
  4. Refine the shapes. Open in editor preserves the imported artwork and preset keyframes. Select individual vector layers to change their colors or add separate animation.
  5. Export and check. This tool downloads JSON or dotLottie without an account. Check the exported file in the player your website or app uses before publishing.

What happens to complex SVGs?

Gradients and unsupported effects may be flattened to an image to preserve their appearance. The tool tells you when the result contains raster artwork. You can animate that image, but its internal shapes are no longer individually editable. Existing CSS or SMIL animation is not converted into editable keyframes.

A spinning mark can extend beyond its original canvas. Leave space around the artwork and check the whole motion for clipping.

Choose the export path

Standalone tool downloads are free and do not require an account. Inside the full editor, free accounts receive five watermarked GIF exports per month. Pro adds unwatermarked exports, including Lottie and dotLottie. Editable project backups remain available on every plan.
