Lossless minification

Only whitespace outside strings is removed. Layer names, numbers, keyframes, images, expressions, and other data remain in the file. Expressions are disabled in this browser preview, so test expression-based animations in their target player.

Compression and compatibility

dotLottie packages the same JSON in a compressed archive. It does not simplify paths or reduce image resolution. Use a dotLottie-compatible player, or extract the JSON first. Files with linked images or fonts need those assets embedded before archive export.
