Find problems in a Lottie file
- Upload JSON or run the broken sample.
- Read the errors and warnings and correct them in the original source.
- Upload the corrected file, preview it, and test it in your target player.
Errors versus warnings
Invalid JSON, missing layer arrays, invalid dimensions, and impossible timing prevent basic inspection. Warnings identify content that may need attention, including external assets, expressions, effects, gradients, and 3D flags. A warning does not prove the animation is broken.
Repair missing assets
A JSON file can refer to images or fonts that are absent from your website. Embed assets when exporting or use an archive that includes them. The checker reads the file locally and does not fetch external asset URLs.
Limits of this report
This is a structural and compatibility checklist, not a complete implementation of every Lottie specification or renderer. A clean report does not prove that browser, Android, and iOS playback will match.
